row selections in google drive, gmail and other things out by one row in 2.2.1388.77
-
I just updated to 2.2.1388.77 and all of a sudden, in google drive, I need to select the folder or document one row ABOVE the one I want, for it to open the one I want. I haven't done much investigation but I think it MIGHT be ok when you start the browser up but quickly gets out of step once you try (e.g.) to select an email in gmail - once you do that, all your other tabs end up one row out of step.
This is on a touch/pen system (Surface pro 4) so I know it's not supported but it was working well until an hour ago when I updated. Need to see if I can downgrade to the previous version, because this is debilitating...
Filed as VB 47642. Just interested to know if I'm alone in seeing this.

Went back through some snapshots and found that the problem starts at 1360.4. 1350.4 works fine. So perhaps related to Chromium 71 (but, that said, I don't see the problem in Chrome version 71.0.3587.98).
Since the problem is a vertical offset in touch or pen input, I also checked for whether this changes as a function of your address bar location - answer is yes, it does. I normally have address and tabs at the bottom, and I'm seeing a one-row offset. If I put the address bar at the top, it is two or more rows offset.

I'm now on 2.7.1628.33 and this is no longer happening. I'd be interested to know why. How can I find out what happened to a particular VB filing?
