Open related tabs in a tab stack – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1400.4
@solidsnake: Toolbar customization work is in progress as you may have noticed - you can already remove buttons you find obsolete and going further you will be able to move them around and define custom ones. Menus will probably at some point become customizable too.
@pesala: I confirmed the issue - this is a bug in case of opening a link in background tab by mouse gesture. It opens as last not after related tabs.
@lonm, @ian-coog: A related tab according to "New Tab Position" setting is any tab opened from the link in the current tab. You have to explicitly perform an action to open the link in foreground in background tab, the link will not be enforced by Vivaldi in new stacked tab just by regular clicking on it with LMB.
I would wonder if it would be more useful if "related" meant opened from the same tab and in the same domain but while it could be useful on for example Vivaldi forum, it could be not useful in other places with links to external sites. So it seems that stacking all links is safer. Groups automatically per topic.

in new stacked tab
stacking all links is safer
But HOW are we supposed to make this work please? I simply don't understand it... https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/260555
@steffie: I have replied there, solving the mystery.

@TbGbe @Steffie I wonder if this might be a problem which shows only in Linux, because my notes and bookmarks are still there and unchanged apart from management data like e.g. "last_visited_desktop" date and of course those I added since the backup. Adding a new note works fine too, as you can see on this note I took from @TbGbe 's post:
(Win 7 & 10 - cross checked with my backups)

P.S. Maybe you should enable English lang & spellcheck; I do NOT make that many spelling mistakes

@dystasia: Wow! That's a ingenious and fantastic idea! Agree with it 100%. Hope it will be implemented soon.
