Wake up and see Vivaldi growing one more time! Thanks, mr Jon!
I love this update. Especially PiP. Congrats!

One detail: Single key shortcuts option unchecked upon upgrade.
@rseiler No such problem here. The default is to disable single-key shortcuts, so perhaps you did a clean install?

@Pesala No, I'd have to be paid a large sum of money to do a clean install.

"Alt Key for Main Menu" in settings is allways unchecked. It works, but option is unchecked. Try select this option, close settings windows, and open settings again. Windows 10 x64, Vivaldi 64-bits.
@slake Nice article. Always great to see a reviewer write positive things about our favorite browser.
Like others there are a few features I am waiting for with an "I can wait for when it's ready" attitude.
As always Vivaldi will release feature only "when they are ready and not a moment sooner".
@szczyputek Confirmed. I forget now why this was implemented. It does nothing for me either.

Opening YouTube video in full screen (by double click) is slow and not as smooth as in Firefox

Thank you to the team for the great additions for the year.
Picture-in-picture mode is something that I really wanted for a long time. However, I do think that the implementation can be done much better rather than the existing double right click on Youtube. It took me sometime to find the option. Hopefully in newer versions, we can do it in a way like how Opera does it.
But nonetheless, great brrowser! Keep up the good work guys! Have an enjoyable Christmas and New Year

[Regression] Chrome Startpage is briefly shown after navigation from startpage as homepage (VB-46912)
Unfortunately ,this regression is not fixed
It still loads when using dials and is even captured as the tab thumbnail.
And for some reason it looks like a secure web page (notice the lock in the address field) rather than an internal one
@sjudenim May be this issue was not completely fixed.
Please read how to Report a bug for Vivaldi carefully and then report the bug to Vivaldi bugtracker.

@Gwen-Dragon it should't be declared as "fixed" until vivaldi://newtab/ shows the google page

...and I still had random crashes every few minutes, to the point I had to rebuild my profile AGAIN after one week since the last RC snapshot.
This is getting ridiculous. I never had to rebuild my profile in 3 years, never had so many crashes since the last weeks.
@iAN-CooG I feel for you. That is a bad experience
