How do I hide certain parts of the browser?

  • One thing I always loved about Mozilla was the ability to basically hide, change, and move any part of the browser you wanted to. I can't for the life of me though, figure out how to hide stuff like:
The secondary unnecessary and redundant search bar that just takes up space.
The useless bar on the side of my screen with the settings icon taking up space.
The "home" button that I will never use.
Here is a picture of the stuff circled. I don't really need to hide the bookmark button but I probably won't use it much so I thought to include it too.

  • @LeeKole No need to hide the add bookmark button.

    1. Settings, Search, and disable "Show Search Field in Address Bar."
    2. Press F4 to hide the Panel Toolbar. Settings, Panels to move it to the right. Settings, Keyboard, View to set shortcuts for panels
    3. Right-click on the Toolbar, Customise, to remove the home button (Snapshots only). Or, assign it to something useful in Settings, Startup. I use it to open a local text file: file:///O:/Documents/todo.txt
