Bug in video full screen mode
-
When I switch a video on any website to full screen Vivaldi goes into a white screen with grey Vivaldi logo in the middle and is stuck there til I restart it. I tried deleting the profile and let a new 'Default' folder be created and imported bookmarks, it was working at first but a while after that the white screen is back. appreciate any help to why this is happening.

@Gwen-Dragon
Crash in both cases, It only goes away with a new profile but comes back later. Also I think when I move the default folder to another Vivaldi browser on another pc the same thing happens.

I just tried that on my own but sadly doesn't fix it. if everything fails I'l try a new profile, import only the bookmarks and see if it happens again.

Ok I found the cause for this crash, I have ALOT of bookmarks, the majority of those bookmarks are not within folders but are in the bookmarks panel itself, when this happens full screen crashes, when I put them all in a folder the crash goes away. so I believe its a bug within Vivaldi.

@Gwen-Dragon Sorry wasn't clear, its not Vivaldi that crashes just playing videos in full screen. I will try to report it.

I am having the exact same issue and I'm running Vivaldi 2.1.1337.36 on Mac OS X 10.12.6, not even Windows. The one window with a video goes to a full grey screen with the muted Vivaldi logo in the center. There's no way I can get to that content without opening a new window. I don't know how to close that messed up blank window so I just have to toggle through it, and eventually when I get through all my windows and then close them, start a new sessions.
I have 6 windows open at the moment, two of which have 4 tabs but the others are just a single window. I didn't choose to send the video to full screen; it's not something I normally choose to do, so I'm wondering if it was a slip of a keystroke (I don't even know what the keystroke is to make that bar at the top disappear -- I think it's annoying when it happens).
