Vivaldi sync not working on first startup

I noticed this issue with both my Mac machines - both are MBPros, 2013 and 2015, respectively. When I first start Vivaldi I get a message that sync encountered a problem because of my credentials. However, when I go to sync settings, logout and then login again (same credentials!) everything works as expected.
Anyone else having this problem?

I've encountered this before, but over the last weeks it seems to have resolved itself. Strange that you're still getting this.
