Tree Style Tab

From a usability point of view I guess tab switching should be done on single click rather than double click.
Vivaldi already has that option! Settings> Panel> Window panel> Open single-click tab. Image

@pesala I see, that works for me too then. I was trying to 'New Tab Stack' with a single tab selected which did not work... I'll just hide the tab bar altogether then and see how workable that is.
Liking it a lot already. -
@juniorsilva30 Thanks for the pointer. However it looks like it's not yet on the "Stable Channel".
-
@slion You can probably enable it from vivaldi://experiments but 1.13 final should be released soon.
-
@juniorsilva30 I found the single click option under Settings > Tabs > Tab Handling

Vivaldi Team?
Are you implementing "a unique Clock in the Status Bar" rather than Tree Style Tab?
Camon! What's wrong with You!!!
Today, Firefox has another one extension like TreeStyleTab called Sidebery, so better and better every once. I'm moving there. -
@Polisson There are 56 votes for Implement Tree Style Tabs in the Feature Request forum, but it is only one of 2,558 requests (currently).
It is not a trivial task because Vivaldi supports Tab Stacking and Tiling.

You're right, but taking 56vote in consideration with
- above 200 000 daily users of FF's Tree Style Tab
- 127 posts in this thread
- 300 posts in TreeTabs thread
is quite unreliable/inaccurate.
-
@Polisson The vote count is no more than a rough indication of the popularity of a feature request, and other factors are more important in deciding whether something gets added such as:-
- How hard is it to do?
- Is there a decent workaround already?
-
@Polisson I just had the same thought : https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/46143/new-features-priority-order
