Videos lose sound
-
Hey,
So I don't know if this has been reported or not. But I have noticed when playing any videos with sound (YouTube, Netflix, Xfinity Stream, Hulu, etc.) that if you touch the tab with the video (moving it, resizing, etc.) the sound will mute. Refreshing the page does not fix it, you actually have to close the browser and re-open.
I did install the latest version, same issue. Is there a fix for it in the settings somewhere? Or is this a known bug?
Thanks everyone.

I don't know what happens to you but I just moved out a playing youtube tab from its tabstack and it still plays, moved back to the tabstack and still plays.
Are you sure you are not only clicking the "loudspeaker" icon? that is the mute tab. Try to right click on the tab and see in the context menu if there is a "Mute/Unmute tab" option, while the video is playing. -
Well I did check if it was muted from the video itself - it wasn't. But I will try the context menu. I haven't seen anything, but are there video/sound options within Vivaldi at all? Or just the self contained controls on the websites themselves?

@jroutledge
@iAN-CooG was not referring to the video settings, but the Vivaldi Tab itself. Check the TAB header and you should see a "speaker" icon when the audio is playing; if you click this then the TAB is muted.Also may be worth checking:
Tools/Settings/Tabs - Tab Features - Mute Tab Audio
Have you created any entries under:-
Tools/Settings/Keyboard - Tabs - Mute/Unmute Tab
Tools/Settings/Mouse - Gesture Mapping - Mute/Unmute Tab -
That's actually what it was...I feel kinda stupid for not realizing that...sorry.
But thank you for your help!
