How to remove specific autofill value
-
Hi,
I've been using Vivaldi for a while but haven't been able to figure out how do I delete a specific autofill value that's been stored. I remember in Firefox you can simply highlight such value and hit "Delete" button. Is there something like this in Vivaldi (my version is 2.1.1337.36)?
Thanks!

@alexanderm
Enter the value: chrome://settings/autofill?search=autofill into the address bar, and make the changes you want to make. -
@alexanderm I liked the value term.
chrome://settings/autofill is disable by default, unless I misread your input. -
@Ayespy , if I use that address I get "No search results found
Go to Vivaldi help if you can't find what you're looking for"@lamarca , when you enter something into the form browser seems to store this input somewhere, so next time I am hitting same or similar form in same fields it would show me drop down with the values I used before. One of such values I would like to remove. In Firefox you can highlight such input in the drop down and hit a delete key and that value would be gone. I don't want to disable autofill entirely, I just need to blow away one of the values I used on such form.

@alexanderm Works perfectly here. I can only conclude you are entering it wrong. That address takes you directly to the window where you can edit autofill values.
Unless your setup is in a different language?
-
@ayespy I get the same result with both goto and paste and go.
The page redirect to vivalid://settings/autofill?search=autofill and no search results are found.
I grabbed this screenshot before the redirect took effect.

I have this on the same website where I have more than one userid. Chrome did something with forms during passwd manager bug.
chrome://settings/autofill is disable by default, you all have to deal with vivaldi://flags
-
So correct me if I am wrong but it looks like there is no way to delete a specific value that is set to one of the forms. Either disable as a whole or deal with your previous inputs... Looks like I am stuck with the 20 test values I used for the site while working on it or not having a form fill at all
-
Of course there is. We are trying to figure out. Did you by any chance had a look at
vivaldi://flags
and there is the search feature. -
-
@pesala That's insane. Why does it work here on Stable, Snapshot and internal, but not for you guys?
-
@pesala You don't have autofill disabled by any chance, do you?
-
@ayespy Where would that be done? Passwords and Usernames fill in automatically when I login to forums.

@pesala OK, I'm losing my mind. I can't find the setting.
-
@ayespy But even Chrome://settings/autofill takes me right to a list of my saved addresses.
-
@ayespy Ctrl + Shift + Del
-
@lamarca No, that's not it.
-
@alexanderm What happens if you just input chrome://settings/autofill in your address bar?

I am directed to the same shot posted by pesala, mine is off by default.
