How to remove specific autofill value
-
@lamarca What on earth are you talking about?
How can you tell me that what i plainly see before my own eyes in my V in my pc, is not happening, & then even ignore the picture-proof i posted? Furthermore why link to a page on passwords, when this thread is about autofill?

@steffie Could please answer my question?

@lamarca Yes, I clicked the link. This is not a privacy/security thread, and the link does not contribute to a solution for the user.
-
@lamarca Nooo, i shan't. You are being inexplicably tangential.
-
@ayespy It does. The autofill was rewritten to fix the pass manager bug.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thank you. I do not know how for others, but this is the answer I was looking for.

@lamarca

@lipo2lipo Glad it works for you and me.

To do shift+delete on a MacBook or the smaller Apple keyboard to remove the autofill value do:
Fn + Shift + Backspace
Fn [Function] is in the bottom left of your keyboard.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thank you! It works for me too!

Hover the mouse over the word that you want to delete (the word is highlighted) and then press Shift+Delete.

Can I disable autofill for specific pages/individual form fields? A payment website I frequently use in Czechia remembers my card CVC code. I am not exactly pleased by this - but otherwise I like the functionality of autofill.

@laccon This was the answer I needed from this whole thread. Thank you!!

I want to remove some values previously entered in a form field. On Firefox it was just put you mouse over the value shown in the pop up (like "bb" the 3rd one for instance), and press delete. I have included an image to make it clear what I want to delete. I looked at this thread, but I'm not sure if it is referring to the same issue. Anyway, is there a way implemented in Vivaldi for doing this?

@fotjon
select the entry and pressSHIFT + DEL
and it's deleted -

Only if implemented in Chromium core which is not at this time.
