Windows should become open-source / free
If CEO Satya Nadella continues on the service-over-software train, it may eventually happen.
Not holding my breath, though.
Maybe it would be more interesting later, follow Google's example and create a VivaldiOS

Why full OS? Vivaldi is based on chromium, VivaldiOS could be based on Linux (and it'll maybe survive).

ChromeOS, like Android, are also relatives of Linux. It is logical that a VivaldiOS would also be based on an OS Open Source, it would obviously be another Linux distro more.

@burbuja See how many V users use Linux. And the map is only most used in the locality. Or not?

If MS, as announced for the future, does not support soft out of its Store and continues with its policy of subtracting more and more the privacy of the user, Linux will surely experience a spectacular boom if users retain a rest of self-esteem

Well, Vivaldi defines itself as a browser for power-user, which are generally not windows -users, I would say, but there are "a few" of black sheeps like mi.

Maybe Kali or Parrot as a base would be an option

@catweazle The source code allows anyone build new Distro. Forking a well known Distro might help you during a period. Discontinued (currently they are using a different term) must be seriously a real consequence.
