My blog has disapeared

Today I noticed finally Vivaldi have fixed the URL of my blog at some point (I gave up waiting).
However the whole blog is now gone !
Old URL https://dr.flay.vivaldi.net
New URL https://dr-flay.vivaldi.netThanks guys.

@dr-flay The old URL sends me

There is some topics on the New Address - last topic on Oct 25th -
@lamarca The one topic on the new secure URL is just a standard template introducing Wordpress.
There are no articles at the old address if you proceed to the unsafe address.
-
@pesala There are more topics on the new one, posted the most recent and the most recent is intro.

Yes I know my new URL shows a default Hello World topic. That is not so helpful to point out.
I know the old address gave a certificate error because Vivaldi did not mint certificates that include a second level subdomain.
This was submitted as a bug by QuHno, and I waited for a fix.
Now it has been fixed, but at the expense of the content. Many years of blogs (I imported my Opera blog when this site started) have disappeared.
Since then I have posted many more blogs, including the worlds largest collection of malware and hacking maps and visualisations.Hooray I now have a working URL, but now no reason for anyone to use it.
This is a serious oversight.I previously lost my last post when the site transferred to Wordpress.
1 post missing was forgivable, but now all 12 years of blogs is too much.
If my blog was being scraped by the web archive I could put it all back, and I really don't feel like it is worth the effort to start again.I know the Vivaldi devs have plenty to do, but please dig into your database and find my blog so it can go back online.

@dr-flay I suggest sending a Chat message to one of the Community Managers. I am not sure who looks after the Blogging platform, but no doubt @OlgaA or @Gaelle will notify the right person about your issue.

@dr-flay I've also pointed one of the sysadmins to your post here. Hopefully somebody can help you out with this.

The bug number is CW-563 and I hope that it was no purge of the content while they moved the address, but I fear that someone made a mistake while changing the stuff ...

Wayback machine didn't save your blog posts, at least I couldn't find anything. I don't know the exact requirements, but I suspect you have to get some minimum amount of traffic.

@luetage or you submit it to them - I've got even my old geocities and my.opera pages covered

@Dr-Flay sorry for all the trouble. I just fixed if. Please confirm me that it's working well on your side as well.
The url to check is: https://dr-flay.vivaldi.net/ -
Hooray !
Thankfully it was not disconnected so long it was purged.
Everything is back. Thank you very much whomever it was that found it.@All. No I haven't been pushing the pages through the web archive. MyOpera site and groups were all saved (inc. most of the downloads)
One way to get automated scraping by the web archive is register the domain with Alexa.
At least it was a criteria they were using a while ago, as the assumption is that big important sites will ll do this. -
@gwen-dragon That's worth knowing.
The XML file is very compact already, but my 196K blog compresses to just 39K as a 7-Zip archive. Easy to backup along with my other Vivaldi custom data, speed dial thumbnails, etc.

Good point, I could have backed it up before the URL was fixed.
stares down at shoes
Must remember to do what I tell people to do..
cough
Yes I will be saving a backup ASAP.
