No sound since 2.0 update
I have no sound out of Vivaldi since I did the update to 2.0. I have tried numerous sites - I get no sound from any of them. When I go to the same sites using Firefox, my preferred "backup" browser, the sound works fine. I've tried disabling all extensions; no effect. At the time of the update, I was running the 64-bit version of Vivaldi. I installed the 32-bit version; no effect. I have not done an uninstall because I'm afraid I would lose all of my settings. I have it fine-tuned just the way I like it.
Here is a summary of my current system:
Vivaldi: 2.1.1337.36 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
OS: Windows 10 Home Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.345)
CPU: 2 X Intel Xeon CPU E5-1620 0 @ 3.60 GHz
RAM: 32.0 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA Quadro K5000
Sound: NVIDIA High Definition Audio
I really hope someone can help. I've been using Vivaldi for quite some time, and I absolutely love it. I've never had any problems prior to my current issue. Thanks in advance.

Very strange, you're not the 1st reporting this
@ian-coog I checked out the other post, and that solved my problem. Thank you!
@billypilgrim1954 What solved it? May be someone coming here by searchengine would like to know the solution.

@gwen-dragon if you want i'll copy/paste my instructions in the linked thread, but that shouldn't be really necessary, it's what hypertext is for
in the system tray on bottom right, you should have a speaker icon with the volume slider and a "mixer" button on it. Click on it.
If you have a tab with audio playing in Vivaldi (for example a youtube video) a slider with the Vivaldi icon should be there and a volume slider below it.
@ian-coog I wanted to know from user what was wrong in the mixer settings.
I have had a similar issue. I'm on a Dell, and clicking on the speaker icon does bring back the sound...as long as that Dell window (see attached image) is open. And it sometimes seems to take clicking the sound icon off and then back on again. It's definitely not ideal, and I'd love to see a permanent fix within Vivaldi.

I have the same issue, Windows 10. I filed a bug report (VB-48050) since even after checking the sound mixer and reviewing Vivaldi, I cannot make it play.
The volume is up, but there is no sound. I can actually play those videos in Chrome or Firefox and they do work.
You wrote in bugreport that extensions caused the issue and solved it by disabling and re-enabling them.
Is this the same as my post here:
... my tabs just mute themselves ... and I have no extensions on the computer in question !
