Force treating a word as a URL

  • Chrome has this convenient feature that when you add a slash at the end of a word, the URL bar treat this as a URL and opens it. E.g. when you enter "something", Chrome will search for "something". But if you enter "something/", Chrome will try to open http://something/ This is really convenient in some rare situation that you need to open hosts in the same search domain (e.g. you have "search example.com" in /etc/resolv.conf and you try to access myhost.example.com, you can type "myhost/" in browser address bar) Looking forward for this feature in Vivaldi :-)
