Moving browser window

Hello, how about increasing the space of browser which you can use to move it arround? It is tiny and you can't click on space next to the opened tabs either. Attachments:

If the browser is maximized it's easy to grab and drag by jamming the mouse pointer to the top of the window. If not maximized pick the area just below the page action buttons (minimize, expand, close).
-
True, but I would be happier with more grabbing space.

I have removed the space above the tabs because that makes the selection of tabs quicker and easier due to Fitt's Law. I also don't want to waste space by dragging the splitter down to show the thumbnails, With the thumbnails in the tab bar, there's plenty of space to grab the window below the minimise/ maximise / restore icons, but otherwise it's not at all easy to grab.
The small area around the Vivaldi button can also be used, but its too small to be practical.
The best solution is to show the panels toolbar on the right, and use that to grab the window.

You also have grabbing space below the icons in the panel (if you use it)

I might be wrong but I thing you used Fitt's Law incorrectly.
Size of the tab buttons is still as big as in any other browser and they are not on the complete top of the screen so you still have to move your mouse precisly even in fullscreen (and that is allright). What you actually did is that you took those 20 pixels, alot of us use for moving browser window, and incresed the size of page content.
And that is just a bad deal. Then again, I can be mistaken.

Not sure if anyone else noticed that the whole panel's dark gray area is draggable (I discovered it after months of usage )
It's also pretty big and handy.
BTW the reduction of the draggable area on top is a side effect of middle click to open a new tab. It will be fixed when a viable workaround will be available.

You misunderstood what I meant when I said I removed the space above the top of the tabs.
See this post in the Tips and Tricks Thread on how to get the tabs to the very top of the maximised window so that they are quicker to select due to Fitt's Law.

I have an idea, which I posted here. Don't know if the devs saw or have the same idea.

Thanks. I linked that message on the pertinent place, now is up to devs to read it and compare your with their ideas.

Agree!
More grabspace. -
@RRR13:
What does Fitt's law have to do with the top pixel used for dragging?
None at all. It has everything to do with selecting tabs quickly, which is why it should be removed. When it's removed, you cannot use the top pixels for dragging, hence the need to use the tab bar or side panel.
Opera 12.17 has two settings for Chrome Integration Drag Area Maximized and Chrome Integration Drag Area to control the size of the space above the tabs in both maximised and restored windows.

I want to grab this area too! Like Opera 12 or Firefox!

Update to the latest version.
