According to Hlini, something is affecting server performances badly, but we don't exactly know what is happening yet. We're working on the issue.

This is weird. Sync still doesn't want to work on my machine. Already submitted a bug report with all requested details. Is this issue just on my PC or do others still have issues?

Hi, last two days we got less reports about and it work for me today without issues.
Some user have 1000´s of notes for example, there was a sync bug about.
Big history and trash also make your sync footprint bigger.
If the server is busy you get a time out.Cheers, mib

I have 0 notes but have been using the browser as a daily driver for the last 2 years so my history is fairly large. Is there anything else I can do (other than resetting my browser data.) to try to fix it. I've already tried reinstalling more times than I can count.

Hi, you can try with a fresh profile.
If your sync was working once you get all history, bookmarks, passwords back.
Some settings are not synced, you have to edit manually.
If it doesnt work you can go back to your old profile.https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/10388/refreshing-or-cleaning-your-profile
