Granular Extension Permissions

Finally, google (all hail) have decided to do something about the nonsense that is the extension ecosystem.

It's good to see granular permissions. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure a lot of users are still going to blanket-allow everything anyway, but for privacy concerned users such as myself it is a welcome change.
The other changes in the article also look like good steps forwards.
