Simply store website cache files in their original file format, like Internet Explorer...

Please add an option to simply store website cache files in their original file format, like Internet Explorer, so that we can access and view the files by simply using any file manager, such as Windows Explorer. Currently to do that, it requires a third party tool [ChromeCacheView] which is not ideal because it is clunky and lacks the full functionality that a file manager can provide, such as live filtering of files, etc.

You know why they don't do that, don't you? If it is possible for other programs to readily identify files in the cache, then they may watch the cache for various receipts that are commonly in PDF format to steal private information. Cache files are not meant to be saved and are definitely not meant for other people to read.

ChromeCacheView
the simple fact that this program exists and works, makes the entire argument about "not meant for other people to read" invalid
It doesn't require any particular hacking skills to scan files for content and identify them despite the name changed.
