BUG: Tab status indicators are hard to see for dark themes...
-
Tab status indicators are hard to see for dark themes. Such as the tab loading progress bar and the unread indicator. To fix this, please add an option to "highlight tab status indicators" with our theme's "highlight" color, for better visibility and appearance.
[bug reported VB-77380]

Now you can use this:
.tab-position .tab .progress-indicator { background-color: var(--colorBorderHighlight) !important; }
-
i would prefer this to be an official feature.

@tsunamiz That's understood, and it's why we have a feature request forum as well as a modifications forum. However, with over 1,000 feature requests, you might be waiting a long time to get it. Workarounds are offered by other users so that you don't have to wait.

@pesala
There are dozens of minor requests like this, which would not take a long time to implement/change. They should include a bunch of them in each version. -
@nekomajin I think better is few versions with big features and few with small ones.
-
@nekomajin said in Tab loading progress bar use our theme's "highlight" color...:
...which would not take a long time to implement/change
I think that's an unsafe assumption.

@ayespy
We are talking about one line in the CSS. -
@potmeklecbohdan
Yeah, it's better to wait months for a fix like this, than have it in the next version. Or not. -
I'm not sure if you can disable this tab progress bar and if there is, please post it here. In the mean time, the next best thing was changing the above code above to transparent in custom.css:
/* Makes the tab progress bar transparent so you can't see it*/ .tab-position .tab .progress-indicator { background-color: transparent !important; }

@seeley setting
display
tonone
should work. -
