Multiple Installations of Vivaldi
-
For Windows users, you are able to install Vivaldi once, twice, three times, ten times, as many times as you want. I like doing this on my Window machines since I can have an installation of Vivaldi as a web browser and another installation of Vivaldi as an Email Client.
But as of now, there is no way to install multiple installations of Vivaldi on Linux especially distros like Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc. I know there are many ways to make Linux apps works such as app images, snap, etc. I do not know the best way to do this but if Vivaldi can make this happen I will ditch Google Chrome forever on my Linux machines and just use Vivaldi!

Why not start with a different config directory?
egvivaldi --user-data-dir="$HOME/.config/vivaldi-mail"

Is it then possible to install any app on Linux multiple times if you wish? I also do not want to have the apps share any data like bookmarks, history, settings, etc.

That's where @CantankRus tip comes in - create a shortcut to the program that specifies a new -user-data-directory and they will not share data.
