Suggestions for a laptop, please (not demanding, am requesting )
-
Hello everyone, Namaste !!
I am searching for a good laptop under 55000 ₹ - I.N.R. (about 770 $ - U.S.D.) to buy till October of this year (2018).Please suggest me upto maybe 80,000 ₹ (1100 U.S.D.) (as they may be sold for cheap till the said month in India).
The specs I definitely want are (mainly) :-
- atleast 8 GB DDR4 Ram
- atleast intel Core i5-8250
- atleast 15 inch 1920 X 1080 (FHD) display with good amount of brightness range (at least the LOWEST brightness level shall be usable in dim light)
- WiFi AC standard (I don't remember the full name -- 802.011 ac/b/g/n probably !!?)
- 2-3 good USBs (probably 1 USB C, and 1 USB A 3.0+)
- good Ethernet port (I don't know what is "good" technically here, probably Gigabit as far as I remember, I hope u get what I want to say)
- 3.0 mm headphone jack
- good build quality
- Bluetooth
Now come the specs which I am TERRIBLY confused at (decreasing priority order) :-
- Nice Touchscreen (I want a little bit of tilt & pressure sensitivity -- nothing specific like 1024 pressure levels -- but yes, I do want good precision/accuracy with atleast 2 finger touch & stylus support)
- Storage option { 1 TB HDD or 256 GB SSD or 128GB SSD with 1024TB HDD or anything else }
- Graphics Card Company and its size.
Things which can be skipped for sake of other features :-
• DVD R/W
• Backlit Keyboard......... continued .......

Here comes the usage part. I will use it for (all while plugged in):-
• reading PDFs
• some "light" 3D drafting/designing work in AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• Basic audio-Video editing in HitFilm Xpress.
• 2D-3D animations in PowerPoint
• browsing in Vivaldi browser with 8-10 tabs open
• "trying" to run Android Studio
• watching upto 1080p movies.What I WON'T use it for/as :-
• serious sketch/art work
• Gaming
• Watching super heavy, graphics demanding movies at full volume (means I don't want to spend much on speakers)
• doing work for long time on battery.
• showing off (means I don't want more thinner, or more bezel less, matte finish kind of stuff).......... continued .......

A little bit of reasoning for my requirements :-
• Touchscreen, I only want for increasing my productivity
I think that reading PDFs & making notes from it is easier when u have a touchscreen. And so is the case with online practice tests on, say KhanAcademy.• I am confused with Storage and Graphics Card only because I think that I won't be able to get any good of these with a touchscreen laptop at this price point.
Else its straight away 1 TB HDD with 2 GB AMD graphics card (cheap and best ) -
