Auto-resize content in window automatically
-
On some lousy poker sites, when the table changes, a new tab is opened, but the 'table' size is now much smaller than the window, and to re-size it to fit the actual window again I have to just adjust any part of the window edge (drag w/ mouse) just a tad and it auto-fits.
Is there any setting/shortcut key to alleviate this? (Either the content or the window re-sizing)
I'm not referring to using max-window or fullscreen options, its a non-maxed window.

@rojaviv There is no fit to page width option as in Opera 12.18. You will have to use the Zoom out shortcut.

@pesala Going off-topic here...but do people really trust Opera after it was bought by the Chinese ??
-
@pesala Zoom out no helpie...but tx anyway.
-
@rojaviv No, no one does. but Pesala speaks of the old opera (which has "fit to width") not the new (which to the best of my recollection does not).

@ayespy Ah ok...so is @Pesala heartbroken....long lost throb ?
Many of us are...
As for the issue - do other actions like opening/closing panels help? Or showing/hiding the sidebar (by default
[F4]
pressed twice)? It's hard to tell what's causing the issue, perhaps theviewport
area changes for a fraction of a second while opening a new tab or maybe there's some other magic happening... I think that for now, you'll just have to find the simplest workaround (try the[F4]
trick). -
@pafflick F4 works great...albeit have to hit it twice..thanks !!
