Reappearance of Find in Page highlight
-
The text will still be there, if you click
ctrl F
to open it up again, therefore pressingenter
suffices to bring back the highlights. -
@metafaniel Try Find Next (F3) instead of Ctrl F.

@luetage @Pesala
Thanks for your quick answer but as I described, norCtrl+F
+Enter
norF3
solve my problem because any of those methods will move the cursor to the next iteration of the text being searched. There are some use cases I need to just highlight again the items again without being forced to move to the next iteration. At present with those methods you suggest, I move to the next iteration. If I just need to highlight again without changing the item being focused, I have to key press
End
, add aSpace
and delete the space again to stay in the item or paste the entire text again. Thanks for your cooperation and interest.

@metafaniel Assign shortcut "/" to Find in Page.
-
It can't be done in version 1.15.X... Maybe using 1.16?
-
@metafaniel You have disabled single-key shortcuts.

@pesala I've enabled it now, thanks (I'm still discovering the browser, sorry).
But still... I insist. Now pressing/
the item remains the current one, great (thanks).
But the other iterations are not highlighted... It'd be useful if they have highlighted again just the way they were when I typed the text before. So:

Thanks again.

As a workaround you can press F3 and then Shif+F3 to go back to the same iteration as you were in...

@pauloaguia It's better than adding and removing a space haha. Thanks, good suggestion to do at present. Greetings
