Google maps right click
Google forced their new style google maps to everyone and depending on the browser you get the full version or the lite version of it. Vivaldi seems to load the full version, but there it doesn't work like it should. When I right click anywhere on the map, it should raise a menu with different kind of choices, but in Vivaldi right-clicking doesn't do anything.
Works with Vivaldi 126.96.36.199 32bit @ Windows 7 x64.
Click once on the map at the point where you want to go
Context menu apperars
Is the map embedded in a web page?
No, its not embedded
Now with 188.8.131.52 right still right click doesn't do anything
Now it works, my mistake.
It was an extension called Linkclump which caused this behaviour.
zimboman - Thanks. I am running V 184.108.40.206 x32 on Win 7 x64 and it is working good for me. I didn't know about that google map click trick, so I have added google map to my bookmarks (Speed Dial) entry. This will save some time and time.
I am using Vivaldi snapshot 1.8.770.32 and this is not working for me.
=> I tried disabling all my extensions and right click on Google Maps still doesn't show the usual context menu.
=> I tried Vivaldi stable version 1.7.735.46 without extensions and same issue still.
Is anybody having the same problem or is it just me ?
try today's .38 snapshot, I get the contextual menu with "Directions from here" etc
1.8.770.38 and 1.7.735.46 works.
@zimboman Is this the menu that you mean?
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit • Snapshot 1.8.770.38
Thanks all for the quick responses ! Much appreciated.
@Pesala, it is indeed the menu I am talking about.
Well, I'm still having the issue on 2 different computers, but I guess that comes from something on my end... I'm going to investigate further.
Thanks a lot all for your input.
