As I mentioned in this thread can someone respond to this:
Since Passwords are stored locally with V, during Sync we will have to have a deep trust to the fact that it is being encrypted before being sent to your Sync servers,
Do the Sync servers have knowledge of our MAC IDs or something to that effect ? Or is it only based on Sync password and/or Vivaldi pwd ?
Anyway, any chance of 2FA with Google Authentication in the near future ?
Also, Why doesn't V have a Master Pwd.. ?

@rojaviv Not sure what the sync server uses to create a UUID, but I'm pretty sure it's not your MAC ID. The reason I say this is that if you reinstall your OS, the sync server thinks you're a new machine.
2FA has been requested for a while now and is on the to do list. No sign that is is anywhere in the near future.
Same with master password. -
