      Hi all,

      With 1.16.1226.3 and 1.16.1230.3 ctrl+q shortcut for quitting the browser stopped working. Using the menu to close the browser seems to fail too.

        @kayvax Please check in Settings, Keyboard, Window, Exit.

        There is no default shortcut for exit. Perhaps an intentional change (I don't recall, as I have long used Ctrl+Shift+Q; I use Ctrl+Q to Clear browsing data).

          Hi,

          Weird. Have you tried removed Ctrl+Q and restore it by clicking on reload icon
          No Idea for V menu >> File >> Exit
          How do you shutdown Vivaldi?

            Ctrl+Q is the default keyboad shortcut to exit on Linux. I remapped it

              @Pesala
              Shortcuts were standard ctrl+q for exit. Changed nothing.

              @lamarca
              I used kill to terminate vivaldi process.

              I seem to have resolved my issue:

              I cleared my libffmpeg.so installation and reinstalled latest (1.16.1230.3) vivaldi-snapshot. After that I reinstalled libffmpeg.so using ruario script (https://gist.github.com/ruario/4eecac838ebfd3a7a164b4f4ee850f30).

              Shortcut to exit started working again. I do not think that libffmpeg.so should be able to block such thing, I had some wierd issues with libffmpeg but that just caused instability or broke websites that needed codecs (as expected).

                Glad to know you solved the issue.
                Latest SS uses Chromium 67 as engine. You got a new SS and libffmpeg installed at

                /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/libffmpeg.so
                /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-version.txt>

                If you have any issue, run Vivaldi from terminal, it's a temporary clean install,

                ./vivaldi-snapshot --user-data-dir="/tmp/VIV-TST" &

                No issue means something is broken on your profile. That's very handy trick of the Linux Wizard (Ruarí)
                One more, start Vivaldi from shell like this:

                bash -x vivaldi-snapshot - messages will be printed on terminal. A very, very example: https://pastebin.com/S7tJ5njN

                Thanks for the feedback, I will tag the topic as resolved.
