As a user I want cookies and (local) storage ungrouped in "Clear private data" dialog because I wish to clear/control them separately

Currently, I have an extension that uses local storage and I want to keep these settings when I (routinely) clear cookies:

In addition, it would be useful to view a list of locally stored data in "Preferences..." similar to the current cookie section:

Hope this is clear/useful and to hear back

      Keep up great work

This would be very useful for sites that take a lot of space in storage that you might want to clear, but where you might still want to keep cookies enabled.

Aside, but related, to this issue I'm also curious about how service workers are currently handled (e.g. how do I uninstall/unregister them without using developer tools on individual websites) - would reusing the cookie, and proposed local storage, UX on service workers too be useful (sorry, read about but not used service workers yet)?

          Yours hopefully

I think it's very annoying, we need more control over Cookies and Local Storage!
Also, right now it's not possible to manage data local storage from vivaldi settings page, e.g. you can't clear (!) or disable (!) Local storage and Database storage.

            alt text

So I made a Feature Request here: Option to Disable Site Data Local Storage

Related malware extension exploiting cookies just got exposed

FYI I use Vivaldi settings and https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cookie-autodelete/fhcgjolkccmbidfldomjliifgaodjagh to auto-delete as much browser data as I can when I close my browser

Hope this helps and Vivaldi starts taking data storage more seriously soon

              Regards
