Option to Show Tabs from All Windows in Tab Cycler
-
Currently, the tab cycler only displays tabs from the current window, which is OK as the default.
However, some might want to cycle through all tabs in all windows. For example, I have one tab in another window on a secondary monitor. The Tab Cycler does nothing there with only one tab in that Window, and on my primary monitor, only the tabs on that window are displayed.

Tab cycling is so useful for switching between windows, esp. if they are on different virtual desktops. I created a Chrome extension for doing that, but would be happy to see this feature part of Vivaldi itself. Once you have tried it, you don't want to go back.

@Pesala Am I allowed to implement such a feature myself? If so, how?
-
@Essenceblue Not officially. You can, however, look at mods. But re-creating a Vivaldi's feature is usually quite difficult. Good luck

Two years later and still not possible to cycle through tabs of all windows? So sad.
Any chance this will happen in the future? Cause for me this is a must-have. -
@essenceblue Using the Quick Commands dialog (F2) is a decent workaround to switch to any tab in any window.
With 5,496 feature requests, and a small team, those needed by few users or difficult to implement may have to wait for a long time. Wherever you see that a feature is tagged as In Progress, it may get done this year rather than next.

Thank you for your request. As it has received few votes over 4 years, it is now going to be archived.
