View Internal Structure on Page {HTML Elements}
-
Back in the old days, when Opera was still using the Presto engine, you could right click on a page, choose Web Developer, Display and Block Structure. This would show the page with the block elements next to the text. It was very convenient if you want to see something quickly and not have to wade through a ton of code or try to find the element/css in Developer Mode that is making your life miserable.
I've provided a screen shot of what I'm talking about.
Right now, I'm working on a WordPress site. Heavens to Murgatroyd, it's a behemoth and a PITA to try to find some piece of code I have to tweak.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

@arbpen I don't see that right-click option in Opera 12.18, but User Styles, Block Structure does what you want.
In Vivaldi, is Right-click, Inspect of any use to you?
-
- Go to your opera installation folder
- Find the file (on my system it is at)
C:\Program Files\Opera\styles\user\structureblock.css
- Open your vivaldi install folder
- Copy the file you found into (on my system it is at)
C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\1.16.1206.3\resources\vivaldi\user_files
- Restart vivaldi
- Click the page actions button at the bottom of the page
- Open the Structure Block

@lonm I thought that it would be possible, but did not realise it was as easy as copy/paste.
Still good to have the style sheet as one of the default page actions, though.
Will it get lost after a Vivaldi update?
I renamed the file to Structure_Block.css but it still appears at the bottom of the Page Actions list. How do we get it to sort alphabetically like the others?

@lonm Did I tell you how much I love you today? That is just perfect! Thank you sooooo much!

I suspect it will be lost unfortunately.

This is buggy. As you can see from my earlier screenshot, it is in alphabetical order. However, on a subsequent restart it just stays at the bottom of the list.

Yes, you will have to copy it back after each update.
Looooong standing bug. VB-2177 -
Thank you for your request. As it has received few votes over 4 years, it is now going to be archived.
