Installation failed (specifics and picture inside)

win7 'installation failed due to unspecified error. If Vivaldi is currently running, please close it and try again. http://i62.tinypic.com/30tkok7.jpg What should I do? Edit: It happens on both simple and not-simple install-choice. I get a progress-bar after hitting Accept and install and then it aborts With that Message.

Update:
I went advanced and chose: 'install standalone'. The installation completed without error-message.
Comodo wanted some confirmation (had to close it and start it again) before it gave it access to the internet. It works now Currently using opera 11.64 but am considering switching to this. Moving my quick-links will take some time tho.

Just so you know, the link you provided in the first post doesn't actually provide any image of anything. It just goes to the tinypic website and all its dozens of ads and popups.
-
Users forget or don't know they have albums available here - without the ads. But there is an image on that page, right side just below "Tags: Click to add tags".

Weird. That image does not show in my copy of Vivaldi. At all. There is just a blank space there. If I copy the URL to another browser, it shows the image.

Ditto for me.
In Vivaldi the URL forwards to http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=30tkok7&s=8#.VTCs7E3nTvk and I see no user-provided image. I would think Vivaldi shouldn't be forwarding at all, but IIRC I've seen similar behavior in other browsers… ...or maybe Vivaldi on Win7 just isn't displaying the forwarded page properly for Ayespy and me as it is for sgunhouse (?)
(@sgunhouse, were you using Windows or Linux when you visited?)
In Otter the URL lands where it is intended, on http://i62.tinypic.com/30tkok7.jpg and the only thing displayed is nameok's intended image:

With vivaldi I reloaded the page to make the pic show.
Anyway, pertaining to the OT, is it working as intended or?

FWIW, the image displayed for me at http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=30tkok7&s=8#.VTNCobDnTvk the first time I visited it in Vivaldi v1.0.156.2 (whereas it previously wouldn't display at all in v1.0.151.7 when I posted above).

I'm not sure what you're asking.
If you mean Vivaldi still won't install as a standard installation, I noticed you mentioned Comodo (presumably the Comodo Firewall from your description). You might have a look at this thread started by Spoon who was having Vivaldi problems that seemed likely to involve Comodo Firewall, and possibly BitDefender. Unfortunately, there is no report yet that Spoon's problem has been solved.

What should I do?
Unpack the installer with 7zip, and copy the extracted folder in the place you want (in program files if you want an all users installation or in your profile folder if you want a per user installation).
The default per user path is
C:\Users{user-name}\AppData\Local\Vivaldi
The default all user path is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Vivaldi (if you are on a 64bit OS)
on x86 it's obviously
C:\Program Files\Vivaldi

@The_Solutor: Not sure if you noticed, but OP got it working as standalone (see 2nd post).
I'm just not sure what he is asking in post #24719

I noticed that byt this way you can have it installed in the proper way, and ready to be upgraded w/o any other manual action
