Typing URL causes a letter to be deleted
-
I've been having an issue where when I type a URL at normal speed, one of the letters will get highlighted and then the next character deletes it. I've replicated this and can watch it happen. If I type real slow, it won't happen.
So some examples where I've noticed it:
Simple.com
I type e, and then it highlights it, when I press . that deletes the e and I end up with simpl.commusic.youtube.com
I type c at the end of music and the c highlights. Same thing where I type the period and it deletes the letter.I'm wondering if some kind of system is in play where it's recognizing words, and that's got a bug in it. I've only seen it do it to the last letter of a word.

@omen_20 Take a look at this earlier thread, which looks similar.
Which Vivaldi version are you using on which Windows OS? No problem here:
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit •Snapshot 1.16.1183.3 (64-bit)

@pesala That does look similar. I'm using 1.15.1147.36 (Stable channel) (64-bit) on Windows 10 here at work. It's been an issue for some months. I've gone into my history to see if I had any entries with the mistyped URL, thinking maybe that's what it was grabbing. Deleting those entries doesn't seem to prevent it. For me it's simply typing characters, no need for a Ctrl+Enter to cause it.
