Could you please tell me more about the status of bug report VB-69357 (Saved password entries disappear after a user switch)? Thank you!
-
@NBL Bug was closed as Invalid. Not a bug in Vivaldi.
Every user on Windows has its own Unique User ID encryption key for secure encryption of data. you can not switch users in such ways.
If you need some discussion on this please open a new thread.

VB-66602 InvalidThanks. What does Invalid mean? Just so that I can improve my bug reporting in the future.

@Vincent500 It means that, at the time you reported the behavior, the behavior was not considered a bug by the internal tester who applied the label. In the instant case, you reported web panels unloading periodically, and the tester probably figured that this is normal resource economy. Web panels are not designed to stay loaded and active. In fact, web panel pages staying loaded and active has been reported and accepted as a valid bug.
Then you reported web panels unloading on fullscreen, which is definitely something that should not ever happen.

Thank you for the explanation. It makes sense now. VB-66602 was indeed reported by me but I didn't know what triggered the behavior which today I figured out that VB-70428 (not by me by the way) reported the same behavior that also found what triggered it (entering fullscreen). But I will keep it in mind when reporting in the future.
