Vivaldi on iOS

  • There needs to be true cross platform support for Vivaldi. I have used Vivaldi since early in development. I now use snapshots until full sync is in normal versions, I don’t know if mobile is in the works but I’m sure I’m not the only one wanting Vivaldi on the go.

@dang065 Mobile is in the works. an iOS version will be extremely fraught, because Apple will not allow it in the store unless it is built on their version of the WebKit engine - which means a whole new development cycle from the ground up. The first mobile version will be for Android, because there is already a Chromium Mobile engine to work from.

  • @Ayespy I think the main thing I want in an iOS version is the ability to sync bookmarks, history, tabs, etc.

    And passwords!

The only reason I can't commit to Vivaldi's internal password manager is that Vivaldi isn't available (so far) on mobile.

Although I currently use an Android smartphone, it's not as slick as an iPhone and I'm always eyeing on iPhones. . . .
