I like the visual style of the examples.
Sadly the effect is currently only for the tab background. In tab-left/right mode it's not as nice, but ok:
As wish for future updates: Could you add an option to apply a (separate) background-image for top bar, please?
In my example it could be the red area with menu, buttons and addressbar. -

I rather liked the Triangles pattern, however it was a bit too light for my dark blue theme, so I played around with it in GIMP a bit and ended up with this:
