  • at Steffie and ruario
    finger pointing ignominy and injustice
The Beatles "She Said she said" is the song for ruario to be thinking.
even finger pointing is desirable when from Steffie "honored to get a reply from one of the most famous Vivaldi..." forum members. ...uuuuu ..
The Most Fabulous. Steffie you must still be reeling from lucius' comment in scrollbar bug. . fun one.

  • I'll get by with a little help from my friends - but that doesn't mean it's the right spelling. ๐Ÿ˜›

  • pardon me Varsha for not saying hello.

  • Itโ€™s a journey with ups and downs and crazy rabbit holes โ€“ but it doesnโ€™t stop here. Good software, like wine, takes time.

    wine or Wine? ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I'm enjoying this page and the comments, even though my brain isn't up to understanding about, say, 75% of it and them. Keep up the good work! (And that goes for knowledgeable commenters too!)

  • @lakeinholland Really? The comments are nothing but a run-down of the most commonly known Beatles songs ๐Ÿ˜›

  • @luetage Sourpuss.

  • @steffie Hey Bulldog

  • By way of explanation, "Feature" was a Japanese ladybird beetle that invaded Vivaldi HQ some time ago. Beetles are members of the insect order Coleoptera, while Hemiptera is the order of "true bugs" (stink bugs, squash bugs, etc.), hence the "Feature is not a bug" comment. As far as Beatles ... you should know what they are.

    invaded Vivaldi HQ

Classic example of the victors of war writing the history ๐Ÿ˜‰

Alternative history: Feature was a delicate colourful forward emissary dispatched from her homeland on a goodwill mission to faraway lands & climes, with a view to cultural exchange & the spread of peace & harmony, respect & understanding. Some international political commentators have opined that her untimely demise is allegorical of global contemporary ills.

  • @luetage Oh, OK. Thanks for the clarification. The fact that I hadn't noticed this makes me very worried.

  • "5279! And this number will increase as you read this. This โ€œincreaseโ€ has quite a ring to it."

Not only a ring, but it has interesting properties:

    • It is a prime number.
    • When looking at the single digits from left to right, the digit is either the difference of the two following ones or the sum of the two previous ones:
      7 - 2 =5
      9 - 7=2
      5 + 2=7
      2 + 7=9
    • It is the difference of two square numbers:
      5279 = 2640ยฒ - 2639ยฒ

@quhno Sure, but then again, there are no uninteresting numbers! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Proof, by contradiction:

    • Let U be the non-empty ordered set of uninteresting natural numbers.
    • Then, the first member of that set would itself be interesting given that it is the smallest uninteresting number.
    • Therefore U cannot have any members and must be an empty set, proving that every number must be interesting.

So, does that also make every Vivaldi build an interesting build?

  • @xyzzy OK, that was a "proof" - a nice one but not rigorous because
    self referencing
    subtle, but still ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
