Grab utility does not recognize Vivaldi as a window
-
Hi, I had to use Grab and when taking the screenshot Grab don't recognize Vivaldi’s window. Here is a picture
Do you have the same issue? Thank you in advance. -
@zmeypc said in Grab utility does not recognize Vivaldi as a window:

@catweazle looks pretty, but no thanks.
I simply warn that Vivaldi doesn’t comply to the os.
Grab is still shipped with it. -
@zmeypc It works for me on Vivaldi 1.15.1137.3/1.14.1077.60 and MacOS 10.12.6 .

@hlehyaric thank you! I’ll repair permissions and will se. mine os is 10.5.9; same snapshot.
- selection is working; windows — not.
- window capture works on other apps.
I thought it was related to Vivaldi Sync, but it seems not.

@zmeypc I'm amazed that Vivaldi even works for you on latest snapshot. The minimum osx version is 10.9+, while you are still on Leopard. Why are you using an operating system no security fixes are issued for anymore? This being said, if something doesn't work for you because of the os version you are using you are out of luck, no one will fix it.

@luetage thank you so much for your concerns. it’s not amazing it’s normal to attend that Vivaldi will work. I don’t have time to repair permissions right now, as I am busy and can’t be sure it will fix it. Initially I thought it was related to VSync as I said. Even it’s unfixable, I’m fine.
BTW I still have older Macs in good condition & running. Why do you do you think everything is replaceable? I guess you can’t figure out I or someone else still using 10.9.x may have software that can’t be migrated/data, do you? Vivaldi runs smoothly on it. Grab even worked in window mode (can’t tell exactly when it stopped as I don’t use it often). I don’t depend on Grab to do screenshots.
I just report here an issue I think it may be related to the browser and may help its development. cheers! -
