Show folders' content in bookmarks bar
-
Hi all,
I'm used to clicking on a folder in the bookmarks bar to see its content and then just move the mouse to the next folder for the next content (I think that's how most browsers do that). With Vivaldi, I have to click every time on the next folder to open it; that's kind of annoying. Is there an option to change this behavior to the more common one?
A second click on a folder isn't doing anything (or reload the content perhaps?) right now. Is there a way to set it that it will close the folder instead?
Thank you.

@gnampf That feature has been requested years ago, I recommend you upvote this feature request if you want to see it happening: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/24605/open-subsequent-folders-on-bookmarks-bar-with-hover
About closing the folder again: you can just scroll up or down with your mousewheel to close the folder, if your mouse cursor is above the folder or anywhere above the bookmarks bar/address bar/tab bar (tab bar will obviously conflict if you have "switch tabs by scrolling" enabled in the options).
Cheers.

The Bookmarks Bar is still work in progress.
Keyboard Navigation is also limited.

Ok, I upvoted this.

This seems rather weird. It's like having a light switch just for "on" and another one that controls the curtains AND switches the light off. Hopefully this will change in the near future.

It probably won't be in the near future. Too many more important issues to fix, and the team of developers is small.

@pesala Too bad. This bookmark thing is the one thing that keeps me from switching from Firefox to Vivaldi. I'll have to wait a bit longer.

@pesala And another "too bad". Thank you both nonetheless!
