Vivaldi browser page not showing pinned or unpinned pages once restarted
I have a problem with Vivaldi's browser. In the past I could rely that I will continue my browsing session from where I left.
Now, once I close Vivaldi, all my unpinned and pinned pages are gone. I see an empty startpage without my Speed dial. I need to click on my bookmarks first then on Speed dial again, then the Speed dial icons re-appear.
This started after I started using the latest upgrade 1.14.1077.60
I am using VPN (Astrill) on a Surface4 notebook.
Looking forward for some help and suggestions.
@thedesigner Sounds as though you still have a Vivaldi process running after you shut down.
@ayespy Thank you for the feedback. Sounds plausible. I am a layman so I have no idea. For the moment I pinned the open browser page, so I don't accidentally exit. Hopefully it can be fixed with the next update.
@thedesigner The problem may be local, not global. Have you set Vivaldi to continue receiving push input after shutdown?
@ayespy I don't know where in the settings I should do the necessary adjustment. I added my current settings for the Startup.

@TheDesigner When you fully close Vivaldi do you see a little Vivaldi icon on your taskbar tray/notifications area (on window this is the bit next to the clock)?

You could try to disable "Continue running Background Apps when Vivaldi is Closet" at the following site:
@lonm No, when fully closed I don't see the V icon. The problem fixed itself after reboot though.
@zaibon Problem fixed itself after reboot. Thanks
