Markdown on notes bugs
-
I never tested if the markdown support on notes was completely working and when sgunhouse posted this I got curious and tested all. My tests have shown that everything works, except lists. It's the only bug I found, can someone else confirm? @sgunhouse: Markdown doesn't have syntax for underline. This is italic: italic or italic This is bold: bold or bold This is both: boldItalic, boldItalic, boldItalic, boldItalic, boldItalic or boldItalic

Confirmed

1. Numbered Lists do not work
2. Bulleted Lists do not work, also
3. Headings work
4. Table markdown doesn't seem to work.||Heading 1||Heading Two||

I haven't tested all, but shortly after sgunhouse's post I tested all the boldface and italics options you listed (with the same results) and tried unsuccessfully to find an underlining option.
I just tested the list options from the same guide sgunhouse mentioned, and none of the options seem to work as explained on the page.
However, + or - (not can be used in place of bullets if no space is left between them and the first word on each line, and numbers followed by a period also works if no space is left between them and the first word on each line (but sequence of numbers will be as typed, rather than rearranged numerically as by the "markdown" on that page). A space after * + - or any number followed by a period before the first word in the line has the effect of "vanishing" the line in the saved note.
(Edit: oops, Pesala posted while I was drafting my reply, so my reply doesn't take his into account.)

|Column 1|Column 2|Tables are GitHub markdown flavour and not 'standard' markdown.
And I have filled a report about lists not showing.
