Edit "typed history" list?

  • Is there a way to directly edit the typed history dropdown list other than simply deleting entries?

  • "%localappdata%\Vivaldi\User Data\Default\History"
it's a sqlite3 database. Grab a Sqlite browser/editor and edit it, at your own risk

  • @ian-coog Thanks, I think. :-D

I downloaded a free sqlite browser/editor and opened the History file and can't make heads or tails of it. I don't see the actual data part. Not sure I want to take a course on database design and application, but maybe if I get bored enough one day...

They just couldn't make it a simple ANSI text file like good old Opera had, could they? Why the need to put it in a database? Who/when/what/why searches it?

    [edited to add]

Oh, wait. I found the data, but that looks like the entire history of visited URLs, no? I want the "typed history" drop down list that you get when pressing the down arrow at the right side of the address bar.

NVM, I found a section about typed URLs, but I'm in way over my head. Thanks, Vivaldi. :-)
