Release. machine here snapshot is updated with the following repository; uses the word "main" where yours has the word Release. could that be the difference?
deb http://repo.vivaldi.com/snapshot/deb/ stable main

okay it happened this machine here as well. just harder to spot because the package is currently up-to-date. I think the error just shifted from snapshot to stable... so something is in the workings. wait and see. you will be up-to-date after a wait maybe. I will stick to, at this time, the wording for snapshot is "main" in the sources list. though the error message does use the word Release/ InRelease; it may have just changed. We do not set the repository, vivaldi does that. will watch for updates with You on this one. here is up-to-date.
Has Your machine been away from upgrading? how old is your snapshot version?

picked a coincidence time to write of it: now here is updated; less than hour later.
herev@evi:~$ sudo apt update [sudo] password for herev: Hit:1 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian sid InRelease Ign:2 http://repo.vivaldi.com/snapshot/deb stable InRelease Hit:3 http://repo.vivaldi.com/snapshot/deb stable Release Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done All packages are up to date.
concludes success ; no updated snapshot vivaldi there.
vivaldi moves quickly.
now. whatever happens next.
We hope srart gets the new snapshot first. !
