How to go full screen?
-
Before anyone write F11 this does not produce a full screen as in Firefox. There is always a bar at the top with File Edit View etc.. Is there a way not to have this in the full screen mode?
Thanks

@jpaulbiss F11 is the default key to show Full screen

That happens only when I maximize

Hi I am on Mac, and the FS menu command is in View menu. By pressing (^⌘F), i.e. control+command+F I activate the Fullscreen. In fact, this shortcut toggles it: pressing ^⌘F again exits the FS.
I am not familiar with Windows, but have you tried to auto-hide the app taskbar [not sure how it’s called] in Windows? In Mac, the FS mode is system-wide supported feature, and when activated, the menubar is always auto-hidden.
The FS mode of Vivaldi for Mac works seamlessly. IMO. -
