Is there a way to direct downloads to a folder other than copy and paste?

Can I direct downloads to a specific folder by browsing rather than typing the entire address or copy and pasting the address? TIA j

In the Settings Menu, go to the Download entry and direct where you want your downloads to be sent.
I have a Downloads directory on my D partition – D:\Downloads. This is where I have all of my downloads sent. It is much easier than searching for the Vivaldi default download directory and then cutting and pasting.

If you right-click on a link and choose Save link as … you will always get a dialog. And yes, you can browse in the dialog (at least, you can in Windows 7).

OK, for example on the nVIDIA website in order to download GeForce Experience it looks like this:
To start the download one clicks on the green button (arrowed) on the nVIDIA website, then to save one clicks on the blue button (on Vivaldi). At this point is there any way to direct the download to a specific folder? It only saves to the downloads folder on my PC. In this case there is no link as such to right click on. This is common on tech support websites.

In such a case, you would have to have already assigned the folder you want under Settings, as being your default download folder. I'm sure they'll get more user-friendly dialogs soon

Thanks, that's what I thought. This feature needs some improvement.
