Re: [Themes] Improved transparent tabs with background image VB-37818
I actually had to untoggle 'transparent tabs' in order to get transparent tabs.
-
@gigzama I think what they mean is they fixed transparency and readability when using a background image that would make the text on the tab unreadable when not selected. On light backgrounds you get a black transparent tab for instance.

Over here refreshing the thumbnails (strg+F5) in Start Page shutdowns Vivaldi. Can somebody confirm this?

@luetage: I see...thanks for clarifying.
-
@someone Works fine for me.

@cqoicebordel Try using Access Keys
- Alt to open the button menu
- B, B to open the Bookmarks
- V to open the Vivaldi folder, etc.

@xyzzy: Windows10, portuguese, Portugal.
At the beginning of the download all is normal but after a few seconds the panel goes blank, without all the information related to the download. After conclusion the information returns but only after changing to another panel and returning to download panel. -
@amatosmert Known bug. Fixed internally.
-
@ayespy Thank you for detailing how to refresh my profile. I might do this but I really think something with Vivaldi changed because my system hasn't changed and all that did change was me upgrading to the snapshot of Vivaldi that had changes to improve memoir management with multiple windows were used. And indeed much less memory is now used than in the snapshot prior to the upgrade.
-
@aronand Thank you. I haven't reported this but I will. Best regards.
-
@g_bartsch Yes, it's not uncommon that the need to refresh a profile becomes apparent only upon an update. The fact that the update is what revealed it doesn't mean it doesn't need to be done...
-
@ayespy Thanks. Then I will do so. It's not going to hurt and could help.
-
I've got a segmentation fault error after pressing Alt or clicking the menu. System: Linux Mint 18.3 w/ Cinnamon
-
Not just Linux Mint, Windows 10 64-bit is also occurred (Vivaldi closes automaticly when pressing Alt or clicking the menu bar)
-
@mraandtux Cannot reproduce. Do you run any extensions?
-
@ayespy a lot, including:
uBlock Origin (cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm)
HTTPS Everywhere (gcbommkclmclpchllfjekcdonpmejbdp)
SwitchyOmega (padekgcemlokbadohgkifijomclgjgif)
Tampermonkey (dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo)
Google's User-Agent Switcher (djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfmg)
Header Editor(eningockdidmgiojffjmkdblpjocbhgh)
Remove Google Redirects (dnhjklgpiifbofihffldllbcopkinlod)
Intergrations of Free Download Manager and uGet
(ahmpjcflkgiildlgicmcieglgoilbfdp, efjgjleilhflffpbnkaofpmdnajdpepi) -
@mraandtux That being the case, what happens if you disable the extensions?
