New Snapshot 220.127.116.11 with more Tiling options, advanced notes and improved spatial navigation.
Hey, We have continued to work on Tiling of tabs. You can now tile both vertically and horizontally. Additionally we have added ability to tile as a grid. Spatial Navigation also got better and faster with live indexing and more polish! We have also tweaked more on Notes, you can now add more than one attachment to a note. Browse local images with Vivaldi! Fast forward now works for folders on your hard drive with images. You can also access local-disk using platform paths (unc and driveletter on windows, posix on mac/linux) The auto-updater on windows has also been made simpler, you do now not get the full installer UI. You won't see the changes before the next update though We are aiming at doing a new Technical Preview on Wednesday so please consider this build a RC and notify us if you find any regressions since the last preview. https://vivaldi.net/en-US/blogs/teamblog/item/18-snapshot-1-0-141-2-with-more-tiling-options-and-better-spatnav //Christian - Vivaldi Technologies
'for improving performance on startup as well as Speed Dials'
The result is greatly appreciated.
Good work guys ! :woohoo: :woohoo:
'Our image control now also controls plugins. If you turn off images or show cached images only, plugins will be on demand.'
Too bad for me. I used to display images but use the 'plugins on demand' functionnality in opera to not display all these crappy ad-flash.
left+right mouse button shortcuts work again… yay!
WOW is really nice!!
Vertical titling is AWESOME, but grid is really weird!.
In vertical (maybe can apply to the other arrangements), why not, resize with handlebars the "window width", scrolling outside "the canvas", and then scroll like on tweetdeck (just a sugestion)
e.g.: i want 5 or more sites, but i want to really see the content (and now I can!! thanks to responsive design)
Thanks Vivaldi team!
Independent zoom for each tab is not working
