Problem with Windowed mode
-
Hi,
I use Vivaldi in Maximized Window.
When I reduce the window of Vivaldi, The title bar of my system appear.
Have you the same problem ?
I don't use Native Interface (to have more height)To resume, when I educe the window, is as the native interface enabled. If I maximize again, native interface keep.
I must close and open again Vivaldi.Desktop Environment : MATE

@adrien_d could you please provide a screenshot showing the difference? I think it could be a "feature" of your Desktop Environment because I use vivaldi with disabled native interface on KDE and it works as expected.

Thank you, video is even better than just pictures. I tried to reproduce the behaviour but I can't. The point of your problem seems to be that vivaldi - restarted after getting closed in maximized state (not full screen) - is getting started again in the correct (maximized) state but if the window size is reduced there will be decorations. And decorations of a window is usually the job of the window manager. You could either check your log files for error messages and maybe start vivaldi from a console/terminal to see error messages. And you could compare other programs/browsers if they do the same.

Hi,
No problem with Firefox 57, and Chromium Version 64.0.3282.167 (Build de développement) (64 bits)
Only the problem with Vivaldi since 1.15. -
@adrien_d I was able to reproduce it in a VM with a gentoo+MATE installation. You can report it using https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/?lang=en to make yourself heard.
