@jon Its about one year that we are waiting for android version (because of sync)
but you never say when beta version will be available for download
for gods sake specify the date
we are very tired of waiting
how we can be beta tester? -
@ea1386 Please read the previous comments by the Vivaldi Team and Sopranos, e.g. on page 10

@ea1386 The Beta of mobile will be available for download when it's good enough for general public testing.
Vivaldi never has and never will specify (or even guess at) production release dates.
We know you are tired of waiting, and we are sympathetic to your feelings. It will be out as soon as the developers can get it out.
The existing Sopranos (internal testers, mostly volunteers) are the pre-alpha and alpha testers. The general public, all who care to download and try the beta, will be the beta testers. As soon as a beta version is out, you will have the opportunity to explore it.

Kiwi Browser’s latest update brings Google Chrome Extensions to Android

@krtbbs also Yandex has extensions support. Being both chromium based it makes sense.
Hopefully, Vivaldi for mobile will have this feature too. -

@MattSolo45 Hi, thanks for your interest in mobile. I edited your post to remove your email address, as it's probably not a good idea to publicly post that. If you're interested, you can sign up for info about mobile here: https://vivaldi.com/android/
To ask about joining the sopranos, you should contact one of the community managers for vivaldi.

On the vivaldi notes, it is also unknown whether there will be a separate app or embedded.

Sailfish OS
From the wikipedia page, it says it can run some android apps. I doubt there will be official support, but if it works on android you could always try it on Sailfish OS when an APK is released.

How to get in on the beta testing??
-
@KSB Not yet, is still in alpha testing (devs+internal testers). I hope and think a beta will come, but the date is not known (rumors says in the winter)
-
@KSB Hello there,
As your answer was already replied, two suggestions: -

@MattSolo45 Everyone will wait for the mobile version until it is ready. No one has the power to force it to appear. The Vivaldi developers know it is much desired, and so are working as fast as they can to get it ready. No amount of pressure, dissatisfaction or wailing and gnashing of teeth can make the small Mobile team able to work any faster. And the very day that it is good enough for public testing, the public will have access to it to test.
