The Graham Norton Show S28E14
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 1
Identity by Philosophy Tube. I always like PTs way of presenting philosophical concepts, and this one is particularly deep with a personal touch.
Fitness Instructor Accidentally Videos the Coup as it began.
“They are coming one by one, to fight over the throne” the lyric goes.
Similar to the high-altitude flight test of Starship serial number 8 (SN8), SN9 will be powered through ascent by three Raptor engines, each shutting down in sequence prior to the vehicle reaching apogee – approximately 10 km in altitude. SN9 will perform a propellant transition to the internal header tanks, which hold landing propellant, before reorienting itself for re-entry and a controlled aerodynamic descent.
- We have Lift-off
- Third engine shut-down OK
- Second engine shut-down OK
- Throttle-down engine one
- Belly-flop Manoeuvre
- Crash Landing
With great joy, atm am watching this new / new-to-me doco:
Monty Python: The Meaning Of Live
Tuesday 16th February at 8:30 pm (105 minutes)
This observational documentary reveals the humour, chaos and passion that went into bringing the Flying Circus to the stage, while offering unique insights into each of the stars. There is Eric Idle pulling the show together with Broadway panache, Terry Jones distracted by his latest feature film, John Cleese's detail-driven perfectionism, Michael Palin rediscovering the joy of improvisation, and Terry Gilliam, restless with the demands of returning to Python. Alongside the rehearsals, the story of Monty Python Live emerges as the journey to The O2 arena also takes place through four decades of Python history.
A good breakdown of how advertising and product placement laws work, and when they dont. Might be a bit of a dry topic, but I enjoyed it.
A lost film, last seen on Boxing Day 1965.
They don't make them like that any more, which is probably just as well.

Spanish comedy magician with some smart tricks without cards.
Dunno why, but waking myself up in the shower this morning i suddenly remembered the hilarious show from a decade ago "This is Jinsy", so i found S1E1 here https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6mou0g, giggled my way through it, & shall now be watching all other available Eps.
I'd completely forgotten that David Tennant was in this first Ep.
I'm unsure which OTT whimsical nonsense i liked more, Jinsy or Green Wing. Both totally crack me up.
Ha, one post in the morning, one post at night.
Just finished watching I Am Legend for the umpteenth time... but first time during our current Zombie Apocalypse. For me it remains a terrifying & amazing film, but OMZ did it have an extra piquancy this time, given its central premise of what a supposed miracle vaccine actually triggered. I find it a wonder that the contemporary nutjob anti-vaxers haven't picked up on this motif & been using this film as their cause célèbre [or maybe they have & i've not realised?].
Emma Thompson [Dr. Alice Krippin] vs Dr Anthony Fauci ... my but the nutjobs could make merry hell with this.
Oh dear, once more my sheltered life kept me naive; they have indeed been making merry:
Makaton Sign Language
I never heard of it, but this video appeared in my YouTube recommendations today.
Try Everything is also excellent.
Samantha started making videos for her adopted sisters.
Makaton is a unique language programme which consists of signs and symbols, ideal for those with learning difficulties. The visual aid helps people to communicate and express needs. Please visit the Makaton Charity Website: http://www.makaton.org for more information. These videos are aimed towards children and people with learning or hearing difficulties, but can be enjoyed by all
