Is it mean that bug still unread or that this is not a Vivaldi bug?
-
@gwen-dragon Logs sent.

@gwen-dragon You mean this vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs? I was install it right after the main Vivaldi pkg. Vivaldi just can't play any media without this codecs.
$ pacman -Qs vivaldi local/vivaldi 1.13.1008.34-1 An advanced browser made with the power user in mind. local/vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs 62.0.3202.89-1 additional support for proprietary codecs for vivaldi
I rarely upgrade this pkgs because of my mobile CPU build its very slowly. I can do this tomorrow and write here if any changes will happen.

$ pacman -Qs vivaldi local/vivaldi 1.14.1077.45-1 An advanced browser made with the power user in mind. local/vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs 64.0.3282.119-1 additional support for proprietary codecs for vivaldi
still software rendering.

@gwen-dragon acceleration enabled.

@gwen-dragon I can show you tests from windows 10, where Vivaldi load CPU as VLC without hw-accel and comparison with mpc-hc that support DxVA.
-
@Gwen-Dragon
You can not compare the Intel GPU drivers from Windows and Linux
I suggest you [only windows] test: Vivaldi on windows vs VLC on windows vs mpc-hc on windows.
the driver for Intel HD 550 is not working fine
But it works in video players, in Edge on Windows and in Epiphany(uses gstreamer-vaapi).

@gwen-dragon got it. Thanks.
