Why does Vivaldi treat a right click as a left click?
-
I think I deleted all my tabs from my previous session because of a Vivaldi crash. I am going slightly mad because of this. After re-opening the window, there was something in the trash. I accidentally hit the right click mouse button, and all was deleted. FML.
So my question is, after tampering a bit about, I find that Vivaldi doesn't care whether you press left or right on your mouse. In the menus, it treats everything as a left click.

Thank you.

In the menus, it treats everything as a left click.
Maybe so in the Trashcan menu, but not in the Bookmark Bar folders. Left-click will open a bookmark in the current tab; while right-click will open it in a new tab.

Just tried it out, and you are right - V treats RMB and LMB equal. Both open the closed tab.
So why is this a problem? (I'm on a Mac, if that makes a difference)

In most circumstances RMB opens context menus on Mac, too.
In this special case I don't get a context menu, but seeing that the OP wanted something from trash restored, I'm not sure I get the issue.
But if this should behave differently, that's only fair.

@gwen-dragon LOL - now you got me cold. I never even noticed the "clear all" entry... shame on me. I got it now
